Harbour Cruise

Yesterday approximately 150 guests attended the European Society - Harbour Cruise. The cruise was a perfect uni-is-over event and it was so nice to see everyone there (maybe for the last time ). Cruising past the the opera house and the harbour bridge at night is amazing! Add music and nice people and you have the perfect evening.

Adelaide to Alice Springs

Tomorrow morning Jaemin (from Korea) and me are heading off to Adelaide, and take a 6 day tour to Alice Springs (Ayers rock!). I'll be back at the 1 of July. So stay tuned for a big update next week.

Hafenrundfahrt

Gestern waren ca. 150 Gäste beim European Society - Harbour Cruise. Ein perfekter Abschlussevent, bei dem man nahezu alle Bekannte nochmal sehen konnte (vielleicht das letzte Mal ). An der Oper und der Harbour Bridge bei Nacht vorbeizufahren ist schon sehr nett! Mit Musik und netten Leuten ist es jedoch der perfekte Abend!

Von Adelaide nach Alice Springs

Morgen fliegen Jaemin (aus Korea) und ich nach Adelaide um von dort eine 6 Tagestour nach Alice Springs (Ayers Rock!) zu machen. Ab 1 Juli bin ich dann wieder in zurück. Ihr dürft euch somit schon auf ein großes Update nächste Woche freuen.

On friday over 100 people gathered at the loft, dressed to fulfill a european cliche.

While Austria is in the media for other things at the moment :(, I dressed as "Mozart" (didn't have a lot of time to come up with this one) and went there to meet... NICK! Nick is living in Sydney and studied at the

meet Nick!

UTS. I met him at my farewell party in Austria at the Down Under pub. It was Australia Day back then and it was a nice coincidence. It was great fun and the dresses were hilarious!

But.. I had to get up early the next day.. it was time for the Student residence cup! There are 5 residences from UTS, actually only 3 are bigger than 1 or 2 flats so Gumal(!),Bulga and Geegal competed against each other.
(Volleball, Soccer, Basketball and other things)
Gumal ended up second with several points behind Bulga, but it was fun and a very sunny and nice day.

Letzten Freitag versammelten sich über 100 Leute im Loft zur European masquerade party. Ziel war es ein europäisches Klischee zu erfüllen.

Während Österreich derzeit für etwas ganz anderes in den Medien ist , bin ich verkleidet als "Mozart" (ich hatte nicht sonderlich viel Zeit :\) hin um Nick zu treffen. Ihr erinnert euch? Während meiner Abschlussparty im Down Under (es war Australia Day) sprach ich kurz mit einem Australier, der zufällig auch auf der UTS studiert hat. Ein netter Zufall Die Party war großartig und die Kostüme genial!

Am nächsten Tag musste ich früh auf da der Student Residence Cup stattfand. Die 3 großen UTS Studentenwohnheime (es gibt noch 2 kleine, aber die bestehen nur aus 1,2 Wohnungen) Gumal(!), Bulga und Geegal tritten gegeneinander in Volleyball, Basketball, Fußball und anderen Sachen an. Bulga gewann, Gumal wurde "leider" nur zweiter. Es hat jedoch viel Spaß gemacht und die Sonne hat uns auch nicht enttäuscht

On friday Paolo celebrated his birthday in Flavian's appartment. The appartment is located next to the hyde park in the 7th floor. 3 out of 4 walls in the livingroom are entirely made out of glass and as a result the view is amazing!

The party was great fun and i didn't get much sleep this night. The reason for getting up early the next day was the .. EASTER SHOW

It's an annual event with a lot of animals (sheeps, dogs, cats, cattle, alpacas, goats, pigs), rollercoasters and sideshows.I've been there with the uts saladbowl society and met a lot of nice people

I even managed to see my first koala and a bilby in australia:

What's more. Carlos and co plan to go to tasmania this weekend and asked me whether i want to join. I still have to check for flight and accommodation, but will hopefully be able to go with them

Have to work on my assignments now
